Before joining LuMind IDSC, Jo was the Marketing and Communications Manager at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, where he managed social media, digital and print advertising, and web content for an audience of more than 60,000 patients. He also served as the Digital Editor at Merrimack Valley Media Group, where he oversaw digital production on several local and national publications.
Working with the marketing team and guided by our strategic plan, Jo will use his expertise in new media marketing to drive LuMind IDSC’s audience on social media to take action on fundraising, participation in research, and community activities.
Jo sees social media not only as a forum for conversation, but as a launching pad for much-needed change in the world. Jo says, “When used well, social media can bring people together to make a real difference for communities that need it.”
Jo is an amateur game developer! He hopes to someday publish an independent game that encourages people to empathize with, and take action for, people on the margins of society.
